Our typical design approach is mobile first because we believe it helps to focus on delivering the most simple and efficient solution to a particular design problem, this results in a fully responsive design. If the solution works on a small device screen, then it will absolutely work on a larger device. The same cannot be said for the reverse. Starting with a desktop design can lead to a mobile solution that is half-thought-out and missing features. Which is why we start with mobile first and then build out into tablet, laptop and larger devices.
